The Physicians Collaborative
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 14, 2026
Our commitment
The Physicians Collaborative is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.
What we have done
- Built the site with semantic HTML so headings, landmarks, and lists are announced correctly by screen readers.
- Provided a skip-to-content link and made navigation and forms operable with a keyboard alone.
- Chosen text and background color combinations that meet contrast requirements.
- Included descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and marked decorative images so assistive technology can skip them.
- Labeled every form field and made error and confirmation messages readable by assistive technology.
- Designed pages to reflow for mobile devices and to remain usable when text is enlarged up to 200 percent.
- Respected the reduce-motion preference so animations are minimized for users who request it.
Known limitations
Some documents provided by partner organizations and linked from this site, such as PDF files, may not be fully accessible. If you have difficulty with any linked material, contact us and we will help you obtain the information in an alternative format.
